Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP)
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) are small-group mental health educational programs that deliver a balance of support and structure to quickly improve an individual's daily functioning.
The programs are designed to help participants resolve immediate problem areas and develop skills to sustain long-term growth. Each six-week program meets three times per week for three hours per day.
Psychological & Behavioral Consultants' Intensive Outpatient Programs are designed specifically for individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral or substance abuse difficulties requiring a higher level of care than weekly one-on-one therapy. Our Intensive Outpatient Programs also can help avoid hospitalization or serve as a transition from inpatient treatment.
Eligible participants typically have severe symptoms of depression, anxiety or substance abuse. Intensive Outpatient Programs are also ideal for stabilizing those with a history of relapse or emotional instability.
